- Cost Factor – It is generally expensive to manufacture ceramic PCBs in comparison to others, due to the nature of the design and the material’s composition.

- Availability – Although ceramic boards can be used for applications other than aerospace and high-technology, it is rarely used in other industries, for the simple issue of availability.
